Report on the 2023 campaign
The 2023 campaign was very successful and we collected more than 810 487 dinars through crowdfunding. This was done via online donations on Donacije.rs and individual donations to our bank account. We were therefore able to give out 20 scholarships in total, instead of the 10 originally planned

Support is essential
We are very pleased by the fact that the “Support Super Girls!” campaign was supported by various people. There were many anonymous donations, as well as donations from friends, colleagues from the civil society sector, and especially from women’s/feminist organizations. We are immensely grateful and feel responsible for every single donation because we are very well aware of the economic situation Serbia is in. At the very end of the “Support Super Girls!” campaign we organized a benefit party, which coincided with our organization’s 10 year anniversary, where we collected 85 230 RSD!
Our voting process was regulated by internal acts – Policies on Protection of Children, Procedures of Social Media Usage, and Voting Criteria. All of these documents were provided to the Commission prior to the vote.

The campaign lasted from September 1st to October 10th, and had high online and media visibility. At the end of the campaign we had clear insight into how much money was fundraised and could therefore also definitely determine how many scholarships we can give out – instead of the 10 originally planned, we could afford to give out 20 scholarships.
The call for submissions for scholarships was open from September 15th to the 30th 2023. A total of 204 girls applied.
Seeing as we wanted a better understanding of how these scholarships will benefit the development of talents Super Girls have, as well as what their future needs may be, we prepared the Questionnaire for parents so they can report on these issues.
From the parents’ assessments we could see a clear need for promotion of Super Girls’ successes, but of the girls themselves as well, as a means of educating society about their needs.
As we planned to do from the start, we published the list of awardees on our website and social networks on October 11th – the international Girl Day.
The Commission had reviewed and rated submissions from October 2nd to the 6th, after which we got in touch with the scholarship recipients via Zoom so as to get to know them better.
We organized an official awards ceremony on Saturday, October 21st at the Krusevac Cultural Center’s White Hall. Parents came with their daughters to officially receive the scholarship checks.
